The core team is part of the programme team responsible for initiating and implementing all NewTexEco activities in the areas of profiling, professionalisation, networking, research quality and impact. The programme team is supported by Lucie Huiskens and Kristel Holtmaat.
The Programme Team works under the mandate of a steering committee that oversees, monitors and, if necessary, adjusts the programme at the strategic level, and provides solicited and unsolicited advice. The steering committee has the responsibility to ensure commitment and support for NewTexEco’s activities within education and the field. The steering committee consists of people with decision-making power within their organisations to guarantee policy and activities resulting from NewTexEco within the universities of applied sciences. The steering committee has three representatives from the universities of applied sciences and two on behalf of the practice partners. Chairman of the steering committee is Frank Kresin.
NewTexEco has an advisory board with (inter)national experts on research and the textile and fashion industry. This advisory board plays a crucial role by providing the programme team with signals and advice on profiling, professionalism, networking, research quality and impact of the NewTexEco research community.
