Lucie Huiskens

Lucie Huiskens has a background in linguistics and business administration, and has worked in scientific, industrial and consultancy organisations, a.o. as a researcher, interaction designer, design manager and director. Since 2002, she has been active as a consultant and project developer in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship in the creative and cultural sector. With her vast experience in working at the interfaces of different domains and connecting different fields and disciplines, she is particularly interested in what interdisciplinary collaboration is and how it can be facilitated and strengthened.

She was a co-founder and coordinator/programme manager of networks such as CLICKNL|NextFashion, NL Next Fashion and Textiles, ArtEZ CoE Future Makers and NewTexEco, and has contributed to (research into) interdisciplinary collaboration and co-creation, particularly between designers and researchers/developers in knowledge institutions and companies.
