A Dutch Design Week Textile Guide
From 18-26 October, Eindhoven is once again the scene of Dutch Design Week, with textile traditionally playing a big role. With work by more than 2,600 designers, sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees. That is why NewTexEco, together with partner Modint, has compiled the Dutch Design Week Textile Guide . It contains everything you really need to see during DDW if you love textiles and are interested in innovations and concept projects in that area.
- New Textile Ecosystems (NewTexEco)
A carpet made of Dutch wool, digitally designed clothing and personalised furniture upholstery: these are examples of how leading makers, united in the New Textile Ecosystems research community, are resisting a global textile industry characterised by its devastating ecological and social impact.

- Fashion Tech Farm

- Wool: (Re)discovered
New Order of Fashion explores how wool can be embraced as a material for the future. Through exhibitions, lectures and workshops, designers, experts and visitors discover together the regenerative potential of this often underexposed material for fashion and textiles.

- Kanta to the World
Experience an immersive upcycling experience that highlights the resilience of communities on the frontlines of textile waste, such as Kantamanto – West Africa’s largest second-hand market. Be drawn into the stories and discover the products made from them.

- Swedisch School of Textiles Graduation Exhibition

VEEM is home to Manifestations, where art tech and fun come together through more than 50 innovative participants.
