Care & Repair

New at Care & Repair: Nora Veerman

We are delighted to introduce Nora Veerman as the new project coordinator for the Care & Repair project. Nora brings a unique combination of fashion theory, hands-on experience, and a strong passion for collaboration.

Nora is fascinated by the interplay between research and design. With a background in art history and fashion studies, as well as her own practice of making and repairing clothing, she connects theory directly to the realities of the fashion industry.

She is enthusiastically committed to Care & Repair because she believes in the power of maintenance, repair, and shared knowledge to make the fashion system more sustainable and socially responsible. Beyond her work at ArtEZ, she organizes community craft afternoons and conducts PhD research on the history of homemade clothing in the Netherlands.

Together with partners and colleagues, Nora is building a network where learning, making, and collaboration are central, exactly what we stand for.
