Clients sought for QUEST project
Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Design & Engineering, is looking for clients for an interdisciplinary project (QUEST) on the theme of ‘circular and industrial production’.
Within Quest, third-year students Built Environment, Technical Business Administration, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering work for six months on real tasks for companies, together with research and education. The focus is on devising smart, technological solutions to societal challenges.
A major societal task is the circular economy. For both the construction and clothing industries, waste mountains, toxic substances and resource depletion must be prevented. The use of bio-based materials is also receiving increasing attention. Changing existing techniques and processes plays an important role in this. Linking different disciplines could strengthen the transition to a circular economy!
