Join Textile Opportunity Space (TOS13)

Companies in the textile, clothing, leather and footwear industries are facing major changes; new European regulations make digital traceability, transparency and lifecycle responsibility mandatory.

With the launch of Textile Opportunity Space 13 (TOS13), also known as NewWoTO (NewTexEco & WoTO), companies now have the opportunity to respond to this in a tangible way and become a visible part of this transition through their own physical stand at the Textile Campus in Tilburg. On 15 and 18 June, (online) meetings will be held to find out more about this.

TOS13 was developed as part of the NewTexEco programme, in collaboration with the Actionplan Circular Textiles (ACT), and is an initiative of Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, ArtEZ University of the Arts, Saxion University of Applied Sciences and Eindhoven University of Technology, in partnership with TextielLab Tilburg and supported by ClickNL. In this digital-physical field lab, companies, knowledge institutions and technology partners are working together on the future of the textile chain.

What does this mean in practical terms for businesses?

  • A dedicated physical space (booth) at the Textile Campus in Tilburg
  • Collaborating with other leading textile and technology partners
  • Visibility within a growing ecosystem centred on circular textiles
  • Experiment directly in a realistic production environment

What can companies do in the field lab?

  • Experimenting with Digital Product Passports
  • Working with advanced machinery, data infrastructures and AI tools
  • Developing and testing circular business models
  • Prototyping using digital twins and microfactories
  • Exploring digital workflows from design through to post-use

Why take part?

Participation provides access to infrastructure and expertise that would be difficult to secure on an individual basis. The field lab reduces risks, accelerates innovation and helps companies remain compliant with current and future European regulations.
