Tamara Rumiantsev
Tamara Rumiantsev studied at the Utrecht School of the Arts with Norwegian pianist Håkon Austbø, where she obtained her piano performance diploma. In London, she studied chamber music with Yonty Solomon at the Royal College of Music, and in New York she pursued professional studies at MSM. Back in the Netherlands, she majored in musicology and music theory at Utrecht University and the Utrecht School of the Arts. In 2002, she made her debut at the Concertgebouw (Kleine Zaal) with chamber music and solo repertoire. In 2004, she performed both of Ravel’s concertos with the Noord Nederlands Orkest. In 2011, she started the Concerts2Connect Foundation to connect artistic and committed projects, for example by organising charity concerts and activities and performances for those who cannot easily go to performances, such as in hospitals.
