Gwen Parry

Gwen Parry has been research manager of the Fashion Research and Technology research group within the Amsterdam Fashion Institute of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) since 2023. She has a background in visual arts, having worked for the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam (2017-2023) and Rijksmuseum (2014-2017), among others. She is interested in what artistic strategies can mean for imagining tomorrow’s fashion (industry).

Besides her work at the HvA, she is involved with Buro Stedelijk as a publishing consultant and is a 2024 committee member of visual arts, presentation institutions for the BIS 2025-2028 on behalf of the Council for Culture.
