Frank Kresin

Drs Frank Kresin is dean of the Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industry at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam since February 2019. In 2017 and 2018, he was managing director of the University of Twente’s DesignLab. Before that, he was associated with Waag Society for 10 years, including seven years as research director. He has a background as a filmmaker, a university degree in AI and worked at the UvA and Digital University. He spearheaded numerous research programmes and projects at the intersection of art, science and technology and is closely involved in the themes Digital Social Innovation, Citizen Science, Critical Making and Responsible Design. Frank was on the board of ISOC NL for six years and is currently on the board of The Mobile City and on the Supervisory Board of CREA, V2_ and Tetem.
