Chain collaboration in fashion: myth or reality?

Invitation | Evening on the Amstel, a conversation on cooperation in a sustainable textile chain

Sustainability and fair working conditions are becoming increasingly important – and with the upcoming EU directives, the textile and fashion sector will not be able to stay behind either. Whereas long-term cooperation between producers, suppliers and retailers is taken for granted in other sectors, this is often still lacking in the fashion industry. Especially outside the big fast fashion concerns that control the entire chain themselves.

But how do you create collaboration in a future that is uncertain? What does this mean for existing business models? And what new forms of collaboration are needed to create a truly sustainable sector?

On Thursday 25 September 2025 , we will discuss this with:
Pascal Betten, director of INTERLOOP EU
Pieter van Kessel, owner of DE NOVO FABRICS and co-founder of Circular Textile Days
Discussion leader is Joris Völker, known for his sharp questions and inspiring style.
Location: Amsterdam Fashion Institute
Times: buffet from 17:30, the talk is from 18:30 to 20:00

Please let us know if you will be there and/or join us for dinner?
