Mustafa Çom

Mustafa Çom is an R&D Engineer at Eliar Electronics in Istanbul. Since 2019 he has worked there on control and data solutions for the textile industry. He holds a BSc and MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Control and Automation Engineering at Istanbul Technical University.

At Eliar, he has contributed to several international and national R&D projects (Horizon 2020, EUREKA, ITEA and TÜBİTAK TEYDEB) focused on textile wet processing. His work covers mathematical modelling of dyeing and drying processes, PID-based and adaptive temperature and pH control, anomaly detection on machine data, and container-based simulation environments, resulting in eight conference publications.

His current interests include applying machine learning and language models to industrial process data.
