Become a partner of NewTexEco

NewTexEco is building a circular and future-proof textile ecosystem. Within our knowledge and research network, five research groups combine expertise in the fields of design research and new aesthetics, materials science and materials innovation, digitalisation and data. We operate on the basis of the quintuple helix model: businesses, knowledge institutions, government bodies, civil society organisations and the natural environment all contribute their knowledge, questions and practical experience.

Would your organisation like to contribute to research, innovation and collaboration within the textile sector? If so, we invite you to join us.

What does our partnership mean?

As a partner, you will become part of a growing knowledge network that works together on (1) research projects relating to circular textiles; (2) knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices; (3) forging new links between industry, research, policy and society; (4) impactful solutions for the textile supply chain. NewTexEco also collaborates with relevant Dutch initiatives, such as ACT (Circular Textiles Action Plan). In this way, we align our research agenda with current issues facing society, regulation and industry.

How do you become a partner?

To become a partner, please contact Floor van der Holst, NewTexEco’s network coordinator. During an online introductory meeting, we will explore together which form of collaboration suits your organisation best.

Are there any costs involved?

Thanks to the SPRONG grant, there are no membership fees associated with participating in NewTexEco. Partners contribute in-kind, for example by participating in research projects, networking days, or by sharing knowledge, materials, facilities or hours. We agree on this contribution together at the start of the collaboration. Twice a year, we ask partners to record the hours they have spent; this is mandatory for grant reporting.
