Oost NL

As an implementing organisation of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the provinces of Overijssel and Gelderland, the regional investment company Oost NL aims to accelerate innovations for social transitions, including in the field of the circular economy. Oost NL focuses specifically on strengthening a limited number of thematic ecosystems. One of these is sustainable textiles, for which it has also written a roadmap for the eastern Netherlands and made an active contribution to the Circular Textiles Action Plan.

Based on this objective of building a sustainable ecosystem for fashion and textiles, Oost NL contributes to Newtexeco. Among other things, Oost NL contributes to the further development of the NewTexEco Research Agenda and the setting up of projects for, or in collaboration with, the textile ecosystem. Oost NL will do this by, among other things, supervising, participating in and organising partner engagement sessions and providing further support in the design, submission and implementation of projects. Oost NL does this in collaboration with the NewTexEco network coordinator.
