Profile: Behavioural researcher Sophie Postma

With her background in brain science, Sophie specialises in answering societal issues by applying knowledge from the brain and cognitive sciences. As a behavioural researcher at Milieu Centraal, she investigates what stops people from behaving more sustainably, what needs to be done to change this behaviour and how sustainable behaviour can be permanently encouraged. In 2023, in collaboration with colleagues and Psychologie Magazine, she developed the proven effective training My Style iD. The online training helps women consciously buy less clothes.
