Caroline Couch
Once a curious child organizing neighborhood street theatre, sewing garments out of scraps, and publishing a weekly cul-de-sac newspaper, adult Caroline can happily proclaim that not much has changed.
Caroline Couch is a creative researcher and entrepreneur blending theory and practice to cultivate, activate, and communicate sustainable futures. Born and raised in the American South, she is now based in Nijmegen, having recently obtained her MA in Creative Industries from Radboud University on a Fulbright Scholarship.
As a Junior Researcher for NewTexEco, Caroline is fascinated by harnessing users’ micro-habits and small acts of care and repair to make a transformative turn in fashion. When not waxing poetic over washing machines, you can find her working with fiber or writing her first opera.
