Francesco Sollitto
Fracesco Sollitto has a background in economics and statistics. Early in his academic and professional career, his focus shifted toward the sustainability domain and the value of digitalization. The interest in multi-stakeholder collaboration that he developed at the start of his career has shaped his thinking on how digital solutions can be used to accelerate knowledge sharing while simultaneously increasing transparency.
Through close collaboration with the developers of SafeSize, Francesco Sollitto has gained hands-on experience in designing and maintaining digital platforms aimed at modernizing the footwear retail industry and reducing overconsumption. By developing dashboards and visual representations, he brings a critical, data-driven perspective on decision-making to the organizations he works with.
At Circle Economy, for example, Francesco Sollitto introduced interactive visualizations to explore complex insights into the environmental impacts of countries and cities. These visualizations are used by him as research tools to formulate policy recommendations that are firmly supported by statistical evidence.
