Leslie Eisinger
Leslie Eisinger graduated as a fashion designer from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague in 2010. Following her graduation, she specialized in knitwear and knitting technologies.
She currently works at the Fashion Research & Technology research group at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where she is a knit programming specialist working with 3D knitting machines. She is currently involved in the Keeping it Local project, a Living Lab focused on the traditional fisherman’s sweater.
In addition, Leslie is a researcher within the Care & Repair project. Together with Nora Veerman, she leads one of the project’s three design coalitions.
As Lab Coordinator for NewTexEco, Leslie brings together the labs of the three participating universities of applied sciences and facilitates the development of new Living Labs.
