Michelle Baggerman

Bureau Baggerman was founded in 2010 by Michelle Baggerman. She is a curious designer. She takes an intuitive and inquisitive approach and sees every project as an opportunity to explore. Combined with a growing discomfort about adding more ‘things’ to the world, she decided not to focus on product design, but instead to apply her skills to generate knowledge through design research. Michelle focuses on increasing sustainability by reframing and reinventing existing and traditional materials and practices and linking them to new technologies, methods and materials in innovative ways.
